Give each caregiver & child team a blank sheet of paper and crayons.
Direct caregivers and children to work together to draw a picture of their house.
Direct caregivers to help their children remember important buildings and landmarks in their neighborhoods. Ask children: “Why is it important to know the area you live?” (Elicit: In case they get lost, to be able to return home safely, etc.)
Have adults help their children add their home address.
