This activity helps children focus on cause and effect, as well as observation, hypothesis, and analysis, important steps in the scientific method.

Activity Details
- Children put on blindfolds or cover their eyes with their hands.
- The leader makes noises with props (clapping, drumming, bags rustling, pet toy squeaking, etc.)
- Children must focus on the sound and guess what made it. Then they remove blindfold to see what it was.
- Ask children what clues they based their guess on.
