Activity Details
- Give each child a “drumstick.”
- Have them try out different “drums.” Ask them which is louder? Which is quieter? Are the sounds they make different? How?
- Then have each child select a drum.
- Have the teacher play a rhythm, and the children repeat it. Try to all play together, and then try variations.
