Activity Details
- Prepare paper with “I CAN”T” printed in white crayon.
- Give children watercolor paint to paint over the words. Letters magically appear.
- Discuss what it says. Have children share examples of things they can’t do.
- Prepare paper with “YET” printed in white crayon.
- Give children watercolor paint to paint over the words. Letters will magically appear.
- Discuss how “I can’t yet” means they will learn how to do something.
- Have them choose one thing they said they couldn’t do and discuss what they can do to achieve that goal.
