Activity Details
Explain to the children that we are making presents for each other.
Everyone colors a sticker. The teacher also colors a couple or has some pre-made.
Everyone puts the colored sticker in a basket. Then each child selects a sticker to wear and says thank you to the group.
If any stickers are left at the end, the teacher and assistant happily select them and say thank you.
Everyone puts on their new sticker. Note: It is important for there to be a few pre-made stickers in the basket in case one of the kids doesn’t complete theirs. That way every child gets a sticker. It is also important for the teacher to check to make sure every child’s gift sticker has been selected – by the teacher if necessary. That way no one feels rejected.
